2010 PINOT NOIR, Tuatara Bay, Marlborough, South Island, NZ (13.5%)

This is a sophisticated 100% Pinot Noir for Burgundy lovers. This wine is a modern fruity styled wine; light yet very attractive with strawberry, raspberry and cherry and just a lick of oak.

2010 CA’DI PONTI NERO D’AVOLA, Adria Vini, Sicily (13.5%)

100% Nero d’Avola. This wine is a deep coloured, medium-bodied, spicy red with aromas of ripe plum and black cherry. The palate combines juicy red fruit flavours with savoury, light smoky characters.

100% Primitivo (Italy’s answer to Zinfandel). Intense, ruby red colour with violet highlights. Fragrant bouquet of plums & strawberry jam. Pleasant, smooth and full-bodied.

Dark robe with bright red reflect. Spicy note of eucalyptus and red fruit aromas on the nose. Sweet fruits and mellow tannins on the palate. Great with meat and cheese.

“A bright-eyed red with hints of briar patch with a whiff of gun smoke" This wine is Burgundian in style. This wine is made in a very soft, fruit forward, low tannin style – a wine to be savoured and supped, rather than an assault on the senses. Lightly oaked, vibrant and fruity with a soft tail.

2008 MARGAUX, Chateau d’Angludet, Cru Bourgeois, Bordeaux, France (13%)

Medium-Full Bodied, Dry, Cabernet Sauvignon blend. With a good depth of deep, dark fruit, ripe but very present tannins and a lovely, long fruity finish, d’Angludet’s 2008 is very impressive indeed. The palate is expressive, with dark morello cherry and loganberry and a vanillin character from the use of oak.
