Nobles make Michelin Guide
Battle restaurant Nobles has won a place in the
prestigious Michelin 2009 Hotel & Restaurant Guide
published last week.
The Guide says of the popular local restaurant
"Simple, tasteful eatery with terrace, in heart of
historical high street. Regularly changing menus offer
unfussy classical dishes of local seasonal produce,
with the occasional twist."
Chef-proprietor is Paul Noble and front of house is his
partner Debbie Grant. Paul has been a chef for over
27 years and has previously worked at The Landmark,
The Goring Hotel and Harveys in Bristol to name a few.
Paul said: "We're extremely proud to be recognised for
our good food and consistently great service. Our
menu has evolved to include a number of dishes that
reflect the wealth of ingredients on offer in the area,
and this has been crucial in us securing our place in
the Guide."
